Quad--Ladder competition

We've been using Quad competitions for about 3 weeks now (as of 7/17/17) to help us move people around our ladder standings. Quads are four player match ups starting we start at 6:45 pm. Please show up earlier than this to allow us time to match players up with their quad. This program has been providing some great games and we hope to continue tightening up the gaps between players by moving people around the standings. If you can't arrive until 6:45, please let contact us to let us know you want to be added before we start. Thank you. Comments/questions welcome here!

Puzzlers

Discuss any puzzles in our puzzler competition. There are prizes for both divisions to be given out at the time of the Pioneer Festival. The New Player division winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to Tasty Time. The Experienced Player division will receive a $10 gift certificate to Half-Price Books.

Tournaments

Anything about tournaments in Winchester or other places. Or anything in general about tournaments.

Club Sessions

Discuss anything about our club sessions held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays. Ideas, comments, start times, dates, general thoughts, and whatever else.

Winchester Scholastic Chess League

Earn points toward individual and team grand trophies. All tournaments are held at the College Park Library Building. USCF Membership is required; save $3 on this membership through the Winchester Chess Club. Tournament dates coming soon. Discussion welcome regarding divisions. In the past we've had K3, K5, K8, and K12 - but open to a change of divisions.
